The Financial Wellness Coordinator is responsible for supporting our workplace financial wellness program. This role will focus on program administration, vendor management, and operational execution, ensuring the smooth delivery of our financial wellness initiatives. Additionally, the Coordinator will provide direct support to our financial coaching program. Candidates with a financial coaching certification are preferred, or they must be willing to obtain one within six months of hire.

Responsibilities:

Program Administration & Management

  • Assist in the day-to-day administration and operational execution of the financial wellness program.
  • Serve as a liaison with third-party vendors, ensuring smooth coordination and implementation of program components.
  • Support the development, tracking, and reporting of key program performance metrics (KPIs, SLAs).
  • Manage participant inquiries, scheduling, and engagement with financial wellness resources.
  • Assist with the coordination of marketing and outreach efforts in collaboration with HR, account executives, and internal teams.

Financial Coaching & Education

  • Provide backup 1:1 financial coaching via phone or video for participants seeking guidance on budgeting, debt management, savings, investing, and retirement planning.
  • Conduct group and individual meetings in both virtual and in-person settings.
  • Support the development of educational materials and workshops for workplace retirement plan participants and related employees.
  • Stay informed on personal finance best practices to enhance participant experiences.

Technology & Platform Support

  • Assist in the launch of new financial wellness clients on the platform by coordinating with our technology partners to fulfill setup and customization requirements.
  • Provide support for optimizing and testing platform usability by collaborating with the technology team to ensure successful site launches with plan sponsor clients.

Compliance & Best Practices

  • Support compliance efforts by ensuring all program activities align with industry regulations and best practices, in collaboration with compliance teams.
  • Stay informed about evolving financial wellness trends and innovations.

Required Education, Professional & Technical Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience.
  • 3+ years of program administration, financial wellness, or employee benefits experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and familiarity with financial education tools and client relationship management platforms.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish preferred.

Work Environment & Travel Requirements

  • This role may travel up to 50% of the time for training and or business/events. 
  • This role offers a hybrid work model with three days in one of our professional office environments and two days remotely.

The base salary range for this position is $75,000-100,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
