The Manager of Client Services, Institutional role is to lead and support Client Service Associates by fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team environment aligned with Fiducient’s values. It encompasses strategic oversight of departmental engagement, talent development, service standards, and operational initiatives to ensure exceptional client service and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Champion the Institutional Client Service Associates by fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team culture aligned with Fiducient’s values
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Institutional Client Service team, driving accountability, continuous improvement, and professional growth
  • Oversee end-to-end client servicing operations including onboarding, account transfers, cash movements, and account maintenance
  • Manage complex client service escalations and ensure compliance with SEC/FINRA regulatory standards
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and liaison with custodians (e.g., Schwab, Fidelity) and separately managed accounts (SMAs)
  • Design and maintain desktop procedures and workflows in CRM and task management systems to enhance efficiency and mitigate risk
  • Ensure data integrity across CRM and portfolio management platforms
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with trading, compliance, technology, and finance teams to resolve operational challenges
  • Lead complex onboarding and ongoing training programs for new and existing associates, aligned with evolving systems and procedures
  • Conduct performance evaluations, facilitate career development, and implement coaching or corrective actions as needed
  • Participate in Institutional and Leadership meetings, contributing operational insights and supporting strategic initiatives
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor service models to uphold Fiducient’s commitment to exceptional client service
  • Manage team capacity, client assignments, and ongoing staffing needs
  • Support the Director of Investment Operations on strategic and ad-hoc projects to enhance operational effectiveness
  • Manage a select portfolio of complex clients, delivering exceptional service and maintaining high standards of relationship management

Required Education, Professional & Technical Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree with preferred concentration in Business or related field
  • 3+ years of investment consulting or financial industry work experience required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite is required
  • Broad investment knowledge including experience with mutual funds, investment managers, 401(k) and/or Defined Benefit Plan administrative procedures preferred
  • Basic understanding of cash flow objectives
  • Previous CRM, Advent Black Diamond, Adobe and custodial portal experience is a plus

Work Environment & Travel Requirements

  • This role may travel up to 5-10% of the time for training and or business/events. 
  • This role offers a hybrid work model with three days in one of our professional office environments and two days remotely.

The base salary range for this position is $92,000 – $115,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
