Kate provides strategic investment counsel to institutional clients, including pension plans, endowments, foundations and other mission-driven organizations. With over 25 years of industry experience, Kate specializes in comprehensive fiduciary oversight, including investment policy development, strategic asset allocation, manager due diligence, liability-driven investment strategies, spending policy design and performance measurement. Kate leads Fiducient’s Defined Benefit Business Council, helping shape the firm’s thought leadership and consulting approach for both corporate and public sector pension clients. She also serves on the firm’s Investment Committee, contributing to capital market assumptions, asset class research and portfolio construction guidance.
Kate joined Fiduciary Investment Advisors, LLC in 2018, which combined with Fiducient Advisors in 2020. Prior to joining the firm, she held senior investment roles as Managing Director in Hooker & Holcombe's Investment Advisory Group and at Prime Advisors, Inc., where she served as a Senior Investment Strategist and fixed income portfolio manager, advising institutional clients on liability-aware portfolio strategies. Kate holds a B.A. from Boston University and is a CFA® Charterholder. She is also an Associate of the Society of Actuaries. Her dual background in actuarial science and investment management offers clients a unique perspective on integrating liabilities into investment decision-making. She is an active member of the CFA Society Hartford and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Hospital for Special Care in New Britain, Connecticut. Kate also volunteers with Junior Achievement, supporting financial literacy education in local communities. Outside of work, she enjoys skiing, kayaking, biking, and playing the piano and treasures evening conversations with her two daughters.
