Lou has over 20 years of experience in the finance industry. He advises institutional clients by providing counsel and guidance on fund menu design, manager selection, vendor due diligence, investment policy statements and performance monitoring. Prior to joining the firm in 2022, he was a Retirement Plan Advisor for Wintrust. Lou earned a BA degree from Taylor University, the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF) designation from the Center for Fiduciary Studies and the Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA) designation from the National Association of Plan Advisors.His interests include health and fitness, music and cheering on his kids’ sports teams.

Marycarmen services institutional clients by providing counsel and guidance on portfolio design, asset allocation, manager selection, investment policy statement review and overall performance monitoring. Prior to joining the firm in 2022, she was an Accountant at Harbor Capital Advisors Inc. focused on regulatory reporting. Marycarmen earned a BS degree in Finance from the University of Illinois at Chicago and is a CFA Level 1 Candidate.In her free time, Marycarmen enjoys visiting art galleries and museums, traveling and trying new restaurants.
Altan provides investment consulting services to nonprofit organizations, corporate executives, family trusts and other private investors. He services clients by providing advice and expertise on asset allocation, portfolio design, investment policy statements, manager search process and overall investment management.
Prior to joining the firm in 2014, Altan was a Senior Planner at Balasa Dinverno Foltz and an Analyst at RegentAtlantic Capital. Altan earned a Bachelor of Science in Financial Planning from the University of Illinois and a Master of Science in Personal Financial Planning from Texas Tech University. Altan was awarded the prestigious Gates Millennium Scholarship through the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, as well as the President’s Congressional Scholarship which provided the opportunity to serve within the United States House of Representatives in Washington, D.C. Altan achieved the Certified Financial Planner® designation in 2012 and is a Level II CFA Candidate in the CFA Program. He was a member of the Midtown Auxiliary Board and enjoys competing in triathlons.
As a Partner and Senior Consultant in our Maine office, Leslie services institutional clients by providing advice and counsel on all areas of fund oversight including policy, asset allocation, manager research, portfolio structure, portfolio rebalancing, performance monitoring and overall investment policy. She focuses on retirement plans for corporate and nonprofit organizations. Leslie joined Fiduciary Investment Advisors, LLC in 2014, which combined with Fiducient Advisors in 2020.
Prior to joining the firm, she founded a regional advisory firm providing consulting and advisory services to defined contribution plans and their committees. Leslie earned her BA from the University of Denver. She served on the committee responsible for developing the Financial Literacy Program for United Way of York County, Maine. In her free time, Leslie enjoys skiing, live music and travel.
Brian services institutional clients by providing advice and guidance on the manager search process, fund selection for portfolios and overall investment management. Brian is a member of the firm’s Defined Contribution Business Council and co-chair of the Recordkeeper Oversight Committee. Brian joined the firm in 2007 as a Performance Analyst and held many positions within Fiducient Advisors on his path to Senior Consultant.
Previously, he was a Client Service Specialist for Chase Investment Services and Scudder Investments. He graduated with a BA from the University of Northern Iowa. Brian is actively involved in The Greater Chicago Food Depository and enjoys biking, golf and traveling.
As Managing Partner and President, Mark provides leadership for the firm’s strategy and overall operations. Additionally, he works with corporate and nonprofit retirement plans, endowments and foundations and private families. Mark was a founder of Fiduciary Investment Advisors, LLC, which combined with Fiducient Advisors in 2020.
Mark has served on and chaired multiple nonprofit boards and investment committees, including Northfield Mount Hermon, McLean, Hartford Healthcare and Ellsworth Foundation and serves as a corporator for both the Greater Worcester Community Foundation and the Horace Bushnell Memorial Hall. He has also served on the corporate pension committees as a fiduciary for both UBS Financial Services, Inc., and Novartis Corporation. Mark has been in the industry since 1990 and has received many industry recognitions for his contributions. He regularly speaks at industry conferences, has chaired the P&I inaugural Healthcare Summit and two P&I OCIO Conferences. He has been published numerous times in publications such as PLANSPONSOR Magazine and PIMCO’S DC Dialogue. Mark earned his MBA from the Tuck School at Dartmouth and a BS from the University of Vermont. He enjoys family time, biking, ice hockey and fishing.
