Partners, Principals & Consultants

As a Partner and Senior Consultant, Tyler services institutional clients by providing advice and counsel on all areas of fund oversight including fiduciary liability, plan benchmarking, vendor analysis, participant educational planning, fee analysis, and plan design strategy. His focus is on defined contribution retirement plans, both corporate and tax-exempt, with decades of experience in 401(k), 457(b), 401(a), 403(b) and non-qualified plan consulting. Additionally, Tyler is a member of the Defined Contribution Business Council and co-chairs the Recordkeeper Oversight Council. Tyler joined Fiduciary Investment Advisors, LLC in 2011, which combined with Fiducient Advisors in 2020.

Prior to joining the firm, he was a consultant at Lindberg & Ripple Inc. (M Financial firm). He earned his BA from Williams College. Tyler serves on the Kingswood-Oxford School Board of Trustees, the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving Scholarship Committee and Board of Ambassadors, the Executive Board of Hartford CT’s Camp Courant (the oldest and largest free summer day program in the country) and the Executive Board of the Nutmeg State Games Connecticut Sport Management Group. In his free time, Tyler enjoys fly fishing, golf, paddle tennis, trying new bourbon, cooking and bird watching with his wife and three children.

Kate services institutional clients by providing advice and counsel on all areas of fund oversight including investment policy development, asset allocation, manager research, portfolio structure, rebalancing and performance monitoring. She has significant experience developing and overseeing liability-driven investment strategies, strategic asset allocation, spending policies and plan design considerations. Kate co-leads the firm’s Defined Benefit Business Councils for both corporate and municipal plans and is a member of the firm’s Investment Committee. She joined Fiduciary Investment Advisors, LLC in 2018, which combined with Fiducient Advisors in 2020.

Prior to joining the firm, she was a Managing Director in Hooker & Holcombe’s investment advisory group and also served as a Senior Investment Strategist and fixed income portfolio manager for Prime Advisors, Inc. Kate received her BA from Boston University and is a CFA® charterholder. She is also a credentialed actuary experienced in pension valuations. Kate is a member of the CFA Institute, an Associate of the Society of Actuaries, a member of the American Academy of Actuaries, a board member of the CFA Society Hartford, a member of the Finance Committee for the Hospital for Special Care in New Britain, CT and volunteers for Junior Achievement. She enjoys bedtime chats with her daughters, taking advantage of the outdoors (skiing, kayaking, hiking, biking), and playing the piano.

As a Partner and Senior Consultant, Karen services institutional clients, including 401(k) and tax-exempt retirement plans and nonprofit endowments and foundations, by providing advice and counsel on all areas of fund oversight including policy, asset allocation, manager research, portfolio structure, portfolio rebalancing, performance monitoring and overall investment policy. Karen is chair of the firm’s DEIB Steering Council and is a member of the firm’s Defined Contribution Strategic Oversight Committee, Mission-Aligned Investing Council, Partner-Principal Review Committee and Engagement Council. She also serves as a Consultant Manager. Karen co-founded Fiduciary Investment Advisors, LLC in 2006, which combined with Fiducient Advisors in 2020. Prior to founding the firm, Karen was a Vice President and PRIME Consultant at UBS Financial Services Inc. and a retirement advisor at Advest. She earned her BSBA from the University of Hartford Barney School of Business and obtained the title Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) from the Investments & Wealth Institute™ accreditation program at the Wharton School of Business and is a member of the Investments & Wealth Institute™. Karen serves as an Investment Committee member for the Girl Scouts of Connecticut. In her free time, Karen enjoys cooking, golf, fitness and travel (preferably when combined).

Kevin serves institutional clients by providing counsel and guidance on portfolio design, asset allocation, manager selection, investment policy statement review and overall performance monitoring. Prior to joining the firm in 2022, he was a Director at TIFF Investment Management (The Investment Fund for Foundations). Kevin earned a BA degree from Boston College, an MBA from University of Virginia (Darden) and is a CFA charterholder. He also earned the CFA Certificate in ESG Investing. He currently serves as a Commissioner of Trust Funds for his local town and is a member of the Investment Advisory Committee of the Association for the Relief of Aged Women (ARAW) of New Bedford. He is also a member and former president of the Roxbury Latin School Alumni Council.

Anthony is a Partner, Research Director at the firm and leads the Marketable Alternatives and Capital Markets research efforts. He is a member of the firm’s Investment Committee, Discretionary Committee, Research Forum and Marketable Alternatives Research Team. Prior to joining the firm in 2011, Anthony held various roles in equity research and due diligence. Anthony received a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business with concentrations in Analytic Finance, Economics & Entrepreneurship and a Bachelor of Arts in Finance from the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University. He is a CFA® charterholder and member of the CFA Society Chicago and CFA Institute. He is on the Advisory Board for the Michigan State University Financial Markets Institute and the University of Chicago Alumni Club of Chicago. In his free time, Anthony enjoys playing guitar, collecting vinyl, history, golf and spending time with his wife and two sons.

Tim services institutional clients by providing counsel and guidance on portfolio design, asset allocation, manager selection, investment policy statements and overall performance monitoring. He is a voting member of Fiducient’s Research Forum. Prior to joining the firm in 2021, Tim was a Managing Director/Chief Investment Officer at Clearbrook Global Advisors, LLC. His industry experience also includes options and derivatives trading at Smith Barney and Oppenheimer & Co., portfolio and risk management involving traditional and alternative assets for family offices, corporations and financial institutions in the US, Europe, Asia and South America. Tim earned a BA in Finance from Stony Brook University and his MBA from Long Island University. He volunteers with various nonprofit organizations. In his free time, Tim enjoys a wide range of reading and movie interests from mysteries, ancient and current history, and economic theory. He also enjoys martial arts, professional and college sports.
