Partners, Principals & Consultants

Adam joined Fiducient Advisors in 2004. As Partner and Senior Consultant, he provides investment expertise to a number of high-net-worth families, private foundations and nonprofit clients. Adam co-leads our High Net Worth and Family Office Business Councils.

Before this, he was a Senior Financial Planner with The Ayco Company L.P., a subsidiary of Goldman Sachs, Inc. Adam is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and member of the Financial Planning Association. He is also a CFA® charterholder and member of the CFA Society Chicago. Adam earned a Bachelor of Science with high honors in Finance and a minor in Financial Planning from Purdue University. He is a founding board member of the nonprofit organization, Angel Tracks, a Board member of the St. Charles Education Foundation and an Advisory Board member for Investing in Communities (IIC). In his free time, Adam enjoys cycling, reading and hanging out with his three kids and high-school sweetheart wife.

As a Partner and Senior Consultant, Pete services institutional clients by providing advice and counsel on all areas of fiduciary responsibility and fund oversight including policy, asset allocation, manager research, portfolio construction, portfolio rebalancing, performance monitoring and overall investment policy. His focus is on defined contribution retirement plans for both corporate and nonprofit organizations. Pete joined Fiduciary Investment Advisors, LLC in 2014, which combined with Fiducient Advisors in 2020.

Prior to joining the firm, Pete spent 10 years on the recordkeeper side of the business, with roles at The Hartford, ING (VOYA) and MassMutual. He earned his MBA and MS from Albertus Magnus College and his BA from the University of Hartford. Additionally, he has obtained both the SPARK Accredited Retirement Plan Consultant (ARPC) designation and the Certified Behavioral Finance Analyst (CBFA) designation. Pete volunteers as a judge for the SIFMA Foundation’s National Writing Competition and is a Board Member for Roots and Wings, which assists young adults who have aged-out of foster care. More recently, Pete has served as a guest lecturer at several universities in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. In his free time, Pete enjoys traveling with his wife, golfing with his son, going on hikes with his daughter and nostalgically collecting baseball cards.

Ryan services institutional clients by providing advice and guidance on the manager search process, fund selection for portfolios and overall investment management. Ryan provides consulting services to nonprofit, retirement, and high net worth clients. Prior to joining Fiducient Advisors in 2018, Ryan was a Managing Director at Clearbrook Investment Consulting. Ryan received his BA in Economics and French from Franklin & Marshall College. In his free time Ryan coaches youth sports and volunteers at local schools in the Boston area. He enjoys skiing, fly fishing, family-time and home improvement projects.

Jim joined Fiducient Advisors in 1998 and provides advice and counsel to retirement plans, foundations, endowments and nonprofit organizations. Jim is a member of the firm’s Mission-Aligned Investing Council. In 2012, Jim was a contributing author to Nonprofit Asset Management (John Wiley & Sons). He is a member of The Plan Sponsor Council of America’s (PSCA) Research Committee, Defined Contribution Institutional Investment Association (DCIIA) and the Retirement Advisor Council. Jim frequently gives seminars and presentations at national conferences.

Prior to his career in finance, Jim worked in sports broadcasting. During his 10-year career, he was executive producer for Chicago Bulls broadcasts, co-host for the Chicago Blackhawks and Sports Director of the first 24-hour sports talk radio station in Chicago (WMVP/ESPN). Jim received a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Economics from Loyola University and a Bachelor of Arts from Columbia College. He is also on the Board of Directors for the Better Business Bureau. Jim’s hobbies include running marathons, sporting events and playing drums.

Carol services institutional clients by providing counsel and guidance on their overall fiduciary governance process and all areas of fund oversight, including investment menu design, asset allocation, manager selection, investment policy statements and performance monitoring. She also has extensive experience in retirement plan design, plan fee disclosure and benchmarking, vendor searches and selection, and participant education and communication strategies. She joined Fiduciary Investment Advisors LLC in 2018, which combined with Fiducient Advisors in 2020.

Prior to joining the firm, Carol was a Retirement Plan Consultant at Sapers & Wallack in Boston and previously worked in Consultant Relations at Wells Fargo Asset Management (WFAM). She received her MA and BA from Boston University and is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary®. In her free time, Carol enjoys running, hiking, cooking and spending time with her family and two dogs.

As a member of the Global Public Markets Team, Sean researches and performs operational due diligence on core investment managers and leads research efforts on defined contribution-specific investment solutions. He is a member of the firm’s Defined Contribution Business Council and Strategic Oversight Committee. Sean joined Fiduciary Investment Advisors LLC in 2014, which combined with Fiducient Advisors in 2020. He received his MBA from the University of Hartford and BS from the University of Connecticut School of Business. Sean is a CFA® charterholder and member of the CFA Institute and Hartford CFA Society. His personal interests include skiing, fishing and golf.
